In 2019, spinning is spectating. Improving your craft is default. See something, say something is basic. It’s time to do something. For those looking to affect change in our community, it’s time to step into a leadership role and one of the most amazing aspects of the Flow Arts community is that you don’t need to ask anyone’s permission. You just need an idea, a team, the tools, and the effort.
By the end of Shape Summit:
► You will have the knowledge to create meaningful community rituals, sustain regional jams, and even launch full blown flow festivals, given to you by the most successful people in our community doing these things today.
► You will have joined a team purpose-built to solve a specific problem you care about in the Flow Arts community and strategized with your team how you’ll execute your plan to affect change over the course of the 2019 Fest Season and beyond.
► You will have the tools to build your personal mission, giving you a single statement to refer to when making tough decisions about how you spend your time and energy.
Shape Summit brings together Flow Arts’ most successful leaders, puts them on a stage, and hands you the microphone to shoot your most difficult, no-holds-barred questions about exactly how they’ve achieved their vision and shaped the culture of our community. It workshops big ideas in our culture, hunts for problems, and forms organizations to build solutions to give our new leaders a blueprint and a team to drive purposeful change in our community for the year ahead.
