Festival nového cirkusu Cirkul’art je medzinárodnou prehliadkou kreatívnych a žánrovo pestrých umeleckých produkcií so zameraním na súčasné divadlo a moderný cirkus. Je jediným a unikátnym podujatím svojho druhu na Slovensku a jeho cieľom je kvalitný inšpiratívny program z rôznych kútov sveta.

The Circus Circus Circus Circus is an international tour of creative and genre-rich artistic productions focusing on contemporary theatre and a modern circus. It is the only and unique event of its kind in Slovakia and its aim is a quality inspirational programme from different parts of the world.

The new circus belongs to the youngest genre of javiscal art and has become a modern phenomenon reflecting contemporary means of expression. For the new circus is a characteristic narrative through circus skills, expressing metaphors, stories, themes, theatrical images, or lineage.
Cirkul’art is an original festival of contemporary circus and street art. It is the one and only festival of contemporary circus in Slovak Republic. Cirkul’art is a showcase of top acts and productions within the genre of contemporary circus from all around the world. Its mid-term aim is to search and scout talents and encourage local artists to explore the possibilities of creating new theatrical productions by using contemporary circus methods. The long-term aim is to research and map contemporary circus, network and create a database of circus artists in Slovak Republic.
